Considering you can fail easily I expect there will be something that soon makes it less different. I didn't even think you could succeed and failed the first time because unless you read the walkthrough, chances are you'll fail. You can get 14 suspicion points and if you get 6, you fail. Certain choices make it harder to succeed getting the document. For instance, Sage might not be there because of a choice you made much earlier.Players who only play two or three paths won't see those 6,000 renders and 390 animations.
I mean, it's all very relative. How many of these renders are rare variants?
There are so many branches and sub branches in the game now that it's weird to me how he doesn't get confused by it.
Offhand, we now have two branches of Maya's main arc: where you stole the documents and where you failed. Imagine him doing multiple scenes for each consequence.
I never chose the option of purposely botching Maya's arc for example. Do I now have to go back and purposely screw it up for the sake of a hypothetical 3-4 scenes?
Simple example, but those 6000 renders only came about that way.
The rare variants have a certain charm. Suddenly seeing something change because you did one small thing differently, something you never noticed before. I got a short scene I had never gotten before after several playthroughs and that was such a cool experience. And many of Quinn's contents are rare variants.
